GAL Development Group brings together businesses across development, construction, interiors, property management, real estate and specialist services — alongside a growing portfolio of our own developments.

Each company operates independently, with its own leadership, clients and expertise, while benefiting from the capabilities of the wider Group. This integrated structure allows us to carry projects from concept and construction through to finishing, management and sales, with greater continuity and long-term oversight.

Over 30+ years, GAL has grown into a diversified group of companies.

1994The Group begins
The business that became GAL Development Group begins in 1994.
2000TC International Contracting
George A. Laquis II founds TC International Contracting in Trinidad & Tobago. It grows into one of the country's most respected construction, finishing and property development companies and remains the group's foundation.
2006Complete Storage Solutions
First expansion beyond construction: self-storage, moving and records management as a standalone service business.
2010Luxury Finishes
Entry into premium interior finishing — countertops, cladding and surface materials for developers, architects and private clients.
2013Total Custom Woodworking
In-house millwork and cabinetry manufacturing: custom kitchens, built-ins and commercial fit-outs, all produced to specification.
2022WhiteRock Property Management
Property management formalised under dedicated leadership across a growing portfolio of communities, commercial properties and vacation rentals.
2023WhiteRock Realty
A dedicated sales and brokerage arm — a single point of contact for buyers, owners and investors across the Caribbean.

Dr. George A. Laquis

Founding Director & Senior Advisor

Dr. George A. Laquis helped establish the family's long-standing involvement in property, development and business, laying foundations that continue to influence the Group today.

Now serving in a non-executive capacity, he provides guidance and perspective to GAL Development Group, drawing on decades of experience and a long-term approach to business, stewardship and continuity.

George A. Laquis II

Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

George A. Laquis II founded the business that evolved into GAL Development Group and has led its expansion across construction, real estate development and a growing portfolio of related businesses.

As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, he continues to guide the Group's strategic direction, investments and development activity, with a focus on disciplined growth, quality execution and creating long-term value.

George-Anthony Laquis III

Executive Director

George-Anthony Laquis III represents the third generation of leadership at GAL Development Group and is actively involved in shaping the Group's next phase of growth.

As Executive Director, he focuses on strategy, development, operations and the integration of the Group's operating companies, while helping position GAL for continued expansion across Trinidad & Tobago and the wider Caribbean.
